Job Description


Job Summary:


As the Manager within? Home Health - You will oversee and manage, nursing;?home health activities, workflow and nursing resources.


Responsibilities:


In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Include:




  • ?Ensuring departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.


  • Conducting hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.


  • Identifying and resolving issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit. You will continually develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.


  • Continually monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.


  • You will ensure optimal skill set for clinical staff.


  • You will ensures adequate staffing levels to meet patient demand.


  • Continually create and oversee multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.


  • Continually collaborate with all leadership members to create a just culture.



Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:




  • Required Credential(s):


    • Certified?BLS Provider?credentialed from the?American Heart Association (AHA)?obtained within?1 Month (30 days)?of hire date or job transfer date.?


    • Licensed?Drivers License?.??and proof of auto insurance is required.


    • Licensed?Registered Nurse?credentialed from the?New York State Education Department Office of Professions?obtained within?2 Weeks (14 days)?of hire date or job transfer date.?




  • Preferred Credential(s):

    • Certified?Certification?credentialed from the?American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).?OR other national certifications in area of speciality recognized by ANCC that are included in the Magnet DDCT




Education & Work Experience:




  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required


  • Master's Level Degree?preferred


  • Minimum of three years of nursing experience required.


  • Bachelor's in nursing, experience in nursing required, experience in home health preferred.
