Vestal, NY Vestal, NY Full-time Full-time $22 - $35 an hour $22 - $35 an hour We are looking for a full-time Real Estate Paralegal to join our team! The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, reliable and detail-oriented, with strong communication and organizational skills.
At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain effective under pressure.
Managing real estate transactions from contract signing to closing, including the review, organization, and preparation of all documentation necessary to complete the residential, commercial and lender closing transaction, in coordination with attorney and other staff.
Review and coordinate with title insurance companies relating to title commitments and title policies.
Producing reliably accurate and complete documents.
Maintaining a high level of communication and coordination with clients, real estate agents and mortgage lenders, and staff.
Performing administrative duties, including drafting correspondence, taking phone calls, filing paperwork, photocopying, scanning, etc.
Experience with local customs for real-estate transactions in Broome County is preferred.
Maintain electronic and physical files in accordance to office procedures and policies.
Provide other support as necessary.
